Caring Breeders - I am Ann & have been breeding dogs for over 40 years;
starting with Rough Collies, German Shepherds, Boxers & Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
I first got involved with Northern Inuit dogs
when through my vet my husband, Graeme, had taken Valentine, our CKCS, for her
annual booster and saw a breeder weighing his puppies. We contacted the breeder and got
out first little girl a few months later. When we collected our little girl I fell in
love with a big boy from another litter, so he came home as well. The rest is history

Inuit dog
The wolf has featured throughout the history of mankind. There are many cave drawings of man hunting with wolves. How they first tamed or crossed them is now lost in time but their descendants are still with us today in many different forms.
However the magic and mystery of the wild wolves still fascinates us and although many people would love to own one this would not be realistic or fair.
With this thought in mind a few people decided to create a dog that would resemble the wolf and yet retain the friendliness and willingness of the domestic dog.
The Northern Inuit we have today is the product of their breeding They resemble the wolf in appearance but has the characteristics of the domesticated dog.
They make loyal and loving companions, highly intelligent and quick to learn, however they are often very independent and need constant,
